The course was in excellent condition and it was a perfect day to golf (overdue for us at the Lake Club because it has rained on us there most of the past years).

Happy Mothers Day as we remember and honor all of our Moms.

We were asking players to post their scores to GHIN at the time of scoring if they had the ability to help make sure all players get their scores posted in time. This helps make sure the scores are posted properly. Too many players each week leave the scoring area and forget to post their score that day. When they get around to it, many times the play date is wrong, the scores entered are wrong, or we have to reach out to the players who have not yet posted during the week. By posting right away, this cuts down on the scores we have to edit and we can use the data to more quickly get the following week handicaps calculated.
And it looks like this worked as all players posted and only 2 players made an error by posting as Away instead of Competition.  These have been fixed.  Past tournaments have averaged about 30% of the field posting incorrectly or delayed, which causes us to spend alot of time reviewing and fixing.

#REMINDER-all players MUST promptly and correctly post all their own rounds to GHIN or you may receive a penalty score and/or service charge.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament.  Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole if available to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole).  If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score.
(you have to know if any hole is reduced for posting purposes (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole based on your current GHIN index). 
NOTE: you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day and we need the differential number for your next tournament handicap calculation.
