Oak Tree Country Club Results, PCS #23 and PCS Final------- Sunday Oct 3, 2021

It was supposed to rain all day but a little mist is all that came down on only a couple holes making for a playable warmer October day of golf. The greens were a little slow but overall the course was in good shape. Oak Tree is a good layout and always a challenge. Congratulations to all the winners at Oak Tree.
This was the PCS final to determine the top 25% payouts in the year long PCS competition (see below for points and the Leader board page for final standings).

Our year long Match Play tournament came to an end Sunday as well with the final match between the bracket winners.

Congratulations to Jeff Ludwig, the 2021 Match Play Champion, and runner-up, Ed Orr (all match play final results will be posted on the leader board page).

This was also the final event to accumulate POTY points. Congratulations to Drew Evanoka, 2021 Player of the Year (final standings also to posted on the leader board page shortly).

The NTC is also good to go. Even though the Boston Tour bailed out of the event this year, we still have 60+ players competing from the other Tours in Orlando next month. Watch for an email with all final details to our participants.

Two more post season local events are set with various optional games and competition. Sunday Oct 10 at Totteridge and Sunday Oct 24 at Montour Heights CC.
Both will be open for online registration later today.

#REMINDER-all players MUST post all their own rounds to GHIN or you will receive a penalty score.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament. Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole). If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole). Not all phone apps have a manual entry link.

Also, you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day.

It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake. Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button.

Step by step instructions on how to correctly enter your score is always posted at the registration and scoring table.
It is your responsibility to know how to do this and post it properly.
