 For a long time now, we have provided information on how to properly post a round of golf to GHIN.  Detailed step-by-step information is listed online, printed, and displayed at all PGT tournaments.  It seems like about 1/3 of the field each week is still doing something wrong however.  Numerous penalty scores have also been issued this year.  Most of the incorrect postings we are able to go into the GHIN administrative site and correct, but we should not have to do this so often.  We will continue to list the players that incorrectly post (or don't post at all), in the hopes everyone takes the time to properly enter their round.  And hopefully rounds played outside of the PGT competition are posted correctly.

 

 Here again is the information on how to properly post your score....AND THE WAY TO PROPERLY REDUCE YOUR TOTAL SCORE IF NEEDED.  A step-by-step sheet will also be on display at the registration and scoring table.

 #REMINDER-all players MUST post all their own rounds to GHIN or you will receive a penalty score.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament.  Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole).  If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + how ever many strokes you get on that particular hole).  Not all phone apps have a manual entry link. 

 

Also, you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day.

It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake.  Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button.
