PGT at The Madison Club, Sunday April 10, 2022--PCS tournament #1

All will be finalized Saturday and the following may still need to be changed.  Nothing is final until listed as final.
*NOTE--Listed times are approximate AND based on what happens at the course and the play out in front of us.  THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE WE CAN START EARLY.
Some adjustments may always need to be made, so arrive early enough to check in and warm up if there happens to be a last minute change.
DO NOT call PGT the morning of the event with questions.  Call the course for conditions, directions, frost delays, etc..  We will send out an email and make every attempt to contact the players if we find out the event is canceled.
Remember, If the course is open, you are obligated to pay and we will play unless there is an unusual circumstance (cold or rainy weather is not unusual).

 #REMINDER-all players MUST post all their own rounds to GHIN or you will receive a penalty score.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament.  Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct.  If the PGT tournament tees have same slope and rating as course tees in data base, enter hole-by-hole scores.  If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + how ever many strokes you get on that particular hole which is based on your GHIN index).  
Also, you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day.  You should strive to do this at the scoring table.
DO NOT leave the scoring table until your score card is reviewed, accepted, and posted on the main sheets.  You will be given what your number is to post onto GHIN because there could be a reduction (ESC).  This score to be posted on GHIN is based on your GHIN index playing handicap, not your PGT tournament index.
It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake.  Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button.

Format: 18 hole individual NET stroke play 
$105 entry fee includes green fees, cart, taxes, daily flight prize purse, taxes, admin fee.
$25--Optional Flight skins (Gross and Net)
$10--CTPs (2 in each flight)
free--all flight CTPs
$50--optional one time year long PCS competition

Flights, handicap range and tees may vary based on final number of players.
Rating, slope, and yardages may be slightly adjusted.
Your PGT tournament index will be course adjusted based on final rating and slope to determine playing handicap.
PGT Black tournament tees--@72.6/135 @ 6400 yards--Default tees for all players
PGT Teal tournament tees--@70.1/130 @ 6050 yards--players authorized by handicap committee

Locate registration table in bar/restaurant area of clubhouse to check in and pay entry fee.  Table opens at 10:30. 
Check in at least a half hour before your tee time in case of changes and to have any questions answered.
Official score cards will be issued, scoring sheets displayed, and local rules for the day will be posted.
BE AT OR NEAR THE STARTING AREA AND FIRST TEE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR FINAL LISTED TEE TIME or you may be penalized.
There will not be a starter at hole #1.  Starting will be done from the registration table.
