What are the benefits of joining the PGT?

You are joining an organization that has been in existence for over 20 years, has successfully run over 50,000 rounds of tournament golf, and paid out over 2.7 million in cash and prizes (we pay out over $173,000 each year).  Our events are professionally run and governed by USGA rules. We play the best private, resort and public courses in the tri-state.  As a member, you have the convenience of playing up to five events per month.  We also organize off season travel events to places like Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, and Orlando.  And with your PGT Tour Card, you are eligible for discounts at many local driving ranges, retail stores, restaurants, and pro shops.  PGT Members normally more than pay for their yearly membership dues with the discounts they receive.  As we continue to draw more Sponsors, overall costs are reduced while playing for larger cash prize purses and more merchandise. 

Because we have such a great working relationship with the courses we visit, PGT players normally pay a reduced green fee than the general public pays.  These reduced rates are often extended to Members who wish to visit the course for a practice round, or return for a future casual round.
