Olde Stonewall Results, PCS #4---Sunday May 1, 2022

Olde Stonewall continues to be one of the most challenging courses we play each year. Rain in the morning made for a wet course, but only a couple cart path only holes. The rain cleared out before we teed off, then sun and warmer temps made for an enjoyable afternoon on the course. Once again, the weather forecasters of gloom and doom at other locations didn't pan out at our location. Stableford scoring took some of the toughness out of the course and gave everyone a chance even with a bad hole or two.
After an initial review of GHIN, only a couple mistakes at this point were made by players posting their scores.

#REMINDER-all players MUST promptly post all their own rounds to GHIN or you may receive a penalty score.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament. Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole). If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole). Not all phone apps have a manual entry link.

NOTE: you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day and we need the differential number for your next tournament handicap calculation.

It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake. Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button. We will display the GHIN reports so players can see if they posted something wrong, and we will correct any mistakes.

Step by step instructions on how to correctly enter your score is always posted at the registration and scoring table.
It is your responsibility to know how to do this and post it properly.

REMINDER.... a $1 service fee may be charged for each mistake that is made when posting your score to GHIN. That is up to $5 depending on how many incorrect numbers are in a post on a single round, or if a round is not posted. It is important to double check your numbers before posting. That is the date, course, tees (slope and rating), Competition round, and adjusted score. Way too many players are continuously posting their rounds incorrectly, posting days after the round, or not posting at all. The information is provided every week on this page, the results page, and displayed at the registration table at every event.
We understand that mistakes are made sometimes, but some players are making the same mistakes over and over. Some players are not taking this seriously or rushing and it is causing too much extra work checking and editing posted errors. The data entered into GHIN is critical to protecting the field in net score play.
ANY SERVICE FEES COLLECTED WILL BE ADDED INTO THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS PURSE.
