Wheeling CC Results, PCS #6 and WAC #1---Sunday May 22, 2022

We are trying to locate one of our players who was wearing a white hat and ordered a buffalo chicken wrap at the Grille after their round. The bill was still open when the final players left. It was taken care of but the player should contact PGT to make arrangements to square up. Also, PGT has a driver head cover and a wedge that someone left behind. And a driver head cover was also turned into PGT last week at Linden Hall. Contact us to have these returned to you.

The rough at Wheeling CC was brutal and players that found it (many frequently), proved difficult to recover from. Luckily no forecasted heavy storms disrupted play, but light rain on a few holes and a cool down when a front came through also caused scores to be higher than normal. The GHIN PCC of +2 showed that. Congratulations to all the winners at Wheeling CC.

#REMINDER-all players MUST promptly and correctly post all their own rounds to GHIN or you may receive a penalty score and/or service charge.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament. Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct, and you should enter scores hole by hole to make sure it is properly reduced if needed (max score allowed per hole). If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply go to www.ghin.com to manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole). Not all phone apps have a manual entry link.

NOTE: you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day and we need the differential number for your next tournament handicap calculation.

It only talkes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake. Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button. We will display the GHIN reports so players can see if they posted something wrong, and we will correct any mistakes.

Step by step instructions on how to correctly enter your score is always posted at the registration and scoring table.
It is your responsibility to know how to do this and post it properly or a service fee may be charged to correct mistakes.
